BharatPe co-founder Ashneer Grover has resigned as the managing director of the Indian fintech unicorn. Grover’s move comes a day after Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC) rejected his petition to ward off a board investigation, according to a Business Today report.
Needless to mention, Ashneer Grover booked a spot on the Twitter trends list on Tuesday. Several memes have been circulating online after the BharatPe co-founder resigned.
Ashneer Grover, who appeared as a judge on the reality television show Shark Tank India, was known for his outbursts. This resulted in social media users creating memes based on the comments that he made.

Ashneer Grover addressed a scathing resignation letter to the board. He alleged in his letter that he was being targeted by a few individuals, and was “vilified and treated in the most disgraceful manner.”
“I write this with a heavy heart as today I am being forced to bid adieu to a company of which I am a founder. I say with my head held high that today this company stands as a leader in the fintech world,” Grover wrote in his resignation letter, according to Business Today.
BharatPe was founded in 2018.
